Microsoft
During the 2007-2008 term Microsoft and AIESEC sustained the Global Exchange Partnership and beyond that started cooperation around MSDNA Academic Alliance. Through this partnership, Microsoft has given free access to software such as Windows Vista and much more to over 30,000 AIESEC members worldwide. The partnership has continued and collaboration has been started around the Students to Business (S2B) Program which assists AIESEC to expand to technical student faculties worldwide. This year Microsoft was an event supporter for the 60th AIESEC Anniversary celebrations.
“I have always been particularly impressed by the skills and drive of our AIESEC interns. Since the onset of our partnership in 2003, their can-do attitude, relentless energy and curiosity have been witnessed by many of our employees. Each and every one of them has shown a tremendous ability to adapt, a strong diplomatic acumen, a wide knowledge of the international context and the tireless motivation to make a positive difference in their adopted community. We are especially proud to foster such diverse young talents from the many countries in the world and hope their experience at Microsoft will facilitate their future personal and professional development.”
- Sylvie Laffarge | Director Community Affairs, Microsoft EMEA
“We rely on AIESEC to bring great talent to our organization, that is, to a company that does business just about everywhere in the world. Our leaders benefit from the insight AIESEC interns bring to taking programs we run in certain countries to other parts of the world.”

DHL
In the eleventh year of a close relationship there has been major growth in the scope of the partnership with DPWN/DHL. In addition to over 100 interns joining DWPN/DHL across the world, DPWN/DHL became a Gold Partner for the global celebrations of AIESEC’s 60th Anniversary, hosted the Alumni Hall of Fame and strengthened the relationship with AIESEC in Iberoamérica as its Regional Partner.
“The DPWN-AIESEC partnership is designed to match students up with real-world projects so that they can gain as much useful experience as possible. As a market leader in global logistics we need good people to support our customers with high-quality services around the world. A traineeship at DPWN/DHL can be the first step towards a permanent position in our team.”

Electrolux
Since the inception of the global partnership with AIESEC in 2003, Electrolux has hosted over 122 interns from 26 countries at 16 locations with three main objectives: 1) to recruit international talent; 2) building the Electrolux employer brand and 3) longterm source for leadership. Starting in 2007, one more objective was added to this global cooperation – diversity.
“We have been supporting AIESEC for five years now in its youth development through the exchange program which enables us to bring talented and diverse people in our teams. So far 25 Electrolux locations have hosted an AIESEC intern. The high retention rate of over 60% of AIESEC interns in the company speaks volumes on the satisfaction of the managers and the talent of the interns. Further, our relationship offers opportunities for learning and development for both parties.”
